I love an outdoor cake smash. This Grow with Me client wanted to celebrate her daughter turning 1 with a simple and rustic/boho chic cake smash, and we were blessed with an amazing morning to do the session.
You don’t need a lot of props to do something like this. A simple cake stand, a banner, and a topper is really all and most of these things can be made by you or purchased on Etsy. I also have a list of vendors that I love to work with.
We started the session with some one year portraits, and then moved to the cake. While Miss {A} dainty tasted and ate her treat, there wasn’t much ‘smashing’ happening…and that is ok too 🙂
