Everyone was so excited for your special day. You are always the first to rise in our house, but this special morning, we all joined you. Balloons in your room were a real treat, and you and E were having a blast with them.
After a quick dress, you barreled downstairs to check it out. Unlike your sister, everything was done at warp speed. You noticed your big balloons…quickly counted to 10 even though there were only 4 blue ones, and busied yourself with your gifts. Good thing everything was easily accessible, because you ripped quickly through the cards and gifts. Your scooter was oh so fun…for about 10 minutes…and then you moved on to the games.
At school E came to be your mystery reader. She read the Pout Pout Fish book, but your were so excited to have us there, you could barely sit down. We brought munchkins for all your friends, and you got to sit in the center of the table since it was your birthday.
A, you are a joy. I love how you try to make people laugh, your smile, and how you do everything full speed….because that means you love just as hard as you cry. And I would take that any day of the week.
