This birthday session was different from most…and for the best reason possible. Yes, mom and dad wanted some fun beautiful images of their newly minted 1 year boy, but they also wanted some family images. That was to be the focus. Because the phones are always present, but mom and dad are never in them. I hear this so often, and I was happy to oblige.
We had a gorgeous afternoon for pictures. Little man was a bit skeptical of me at first, and it was a bit hot so I’m sure that didn’t help. But once he was out of the car seat, and we all started laughing and being silly, he came around so quickly. And being around the family was just a joy. We laughed the whole time, and I think the happiness shows in the images.
