First Communion Portraits, Hamilton NJ Child Photographer

Birthdays are not the only milestone for an eight year old.  Especially when the milestone involves something spiritually significant.  Top that off with a white dress, veil, shoes, and a magical up do, and it was all she could do to not smile.  First Communion portraits are such a favorite of mine.  I remember how I felt in my communion dress…I couldn’t wait to put it on and then I felt like a princess going to a ball.  I had long hair then too, ha!

I am thrilled every time a family chooses me to photograph this special milestone.  This is not your everyday event, so why have the same old portraits?   If you are looking for First Communion photos that are in front of a white background in a studio with a gratuitous column and kneeler, then I’m not your gal.  But if you are looking to celebrate the moment, and preserve the entire experience of the day, then I hope to hear from you!  These memories deserve to not be generic, and to represent your son or daughter celebrating this sacrament.   Congratulations Em!
