I have always loved taking First Holy Communion portraits, but this year it will be especially fun as my daughter will also be making her Communion. I love how the girls feel so grown up in their gowns and all the accessories that go with it all. This beautiful girl happens to be great friends with my daughter, so I was just thrilled when her momma asked me to photograph Ava for her special day.
We opted for both indoor and outdoor portraits, and luckily we had a gorgeous spring day for these! Ava looks amazing in her gown and veil, with a touch of her love of dance with her shoes – I just love that detail.
