I don’t get the honor of photographing very many military families. But I was so thankful to be able to photograph this one. We had fun the entire time. And this little 2 year old boy never stopped smiling, posing, or showing off. His moves were everything!! And this gorgeous couple reminded me what it was like to be young and in love. Ah.
I will be forever grateful to the sacrifices that are made each day by our military families. The wives, such as this one, who hold down the fort and the husbands who serve and are oceans apart from their families for long stretches. While nothing makes the separation easier, I’m so happy that I was able to capture some memories for them while they are together, so that they can take these images with them while they are apart.
