This year, the kids had spring break the same week as my parents, so with the hubby working, the kids and I took off to Maryland to have some day trip fun! It was a great spring break. We had great weather, no one got sick {knocking on wood here}, and the kids really had a blast with the activities that we planned. From a trip to Medieval Times, the circus, the National zoo, and then celebrating Easter with the family…seeing the smiles on my kids faces all week just make me so happy. {E}’s favorite was a tie between the knights and the circus, and {A} loved the knights. He was whipping that banner around so fast, we all had be sure to keep our faces clear of it! And the circus…there was so much to see the kids didn’t know where to look! The entire time their mouths were either open or smiling. Both proclaimed the zoo to be just eh. It was definitely crowded the day we went.
