I haven’t posted much this summer. I feel like the weeks are slipping by so quickly, and it has been hard to keep up in a routine that is always changing. I’m still taking my camera out and about though, and I thought I would blog the top 2 activities we’ve been up to so far this summer.
The kids have absolutely taken to rock climbing in the indoor climbing gym. Hubby and I use to go all the time before we were married and up until this summer {E} had been a few times and {A} not at all. We opted to purchase a family membership and the kids go nuts. They love to go. {E} is really taking to it, and {A} is not to be outdone so he scales up like a spider monkey.
In addition to the climbing, the kids have loved going fishing this summer. There is a lake right by our house that is kept stock with all kinds of fish. Add some nightcrawlers and every single time we go, the kids catch a ton.
So in addition to camps, school work, karate, swimming lessons, day trips to Great Adventure, putting a pool in our yard (still ongoing), and driving all around to other activities, this is what my family has been up to…
