While I love the squishy-ness of the babies when they are newborns, my favorite time to photograph during the first year is between 7-10 months. Why? Because this is around they time they can sit up on their own comfortably. They haven’t discovered crawling yet (for most of them!) so they stay put where you place them. But they have a ton of personality, so making them laugh and giggle and smile is a ton of fun. And if siblings are in the mix, they are used to having baby sister around by now. And they like to show off for her, cuddle her, and love on her.
I adore photographing this family, and was so excited for our sitting milestone session. We were blessed with gorgeous weather, and made the most of it. Prepare for a ton of cuteness people. Don’t say I didn’t warn you….xo, Jen
