I love the anticipation that comes with waiting for a new little one to arrive. I clearly remember what that felt like as a first time mom, and my first born was also a few days late so I was really ready at that point! This little sweetheart arrived last month and I was finally able to photographer her newborn images last week. The beauty of a lifestyle session…really there are many advantages…but one of the best is that mom and dad can really be in a rhythm by the time I arrive to photograph their new daughter. Sleep is starting to happen in larger spurts. You have a few moments to shower. You get some amazing eye contact with the baby. And so many others reasons!
This precious little girl was 1 day shy of 4 weeks old when I met her. Mom and Dad were game for anything and I even got to document her first bottle! That was a first for me as a photographer. I can’t wait until our next session, as a Grow with Me baby I’ll be seeing her several times this year and I can’t wait.
