The beach is the best, according to my daughter. Made only better by the addition of my parents, along for the ride. A bit ago we took a trip with them to Rehoboth Beach Deleware, and we had such a fabulous time. We had a townhouse with a pool about 1 mile from the beach, and we just filled our days with fun and love.
And the pool…which of course involved lots of noodles, splashes and kid throwing…
Root beer floats are a signature grandma and grandpa treat.
We also headed to the go-kart track for some racing.
And jumping.
And floating/running in this ball like a hamster. Which is apparently loads of fun.
There was Subway Surf tournaments…
And bike riding. Laverne and Shirley even made an appearance 🙂
Tickles and hugs were an everyday sight.
And FUNLAND. And Ice Cream.
I LOVE this one. I know its blurry, but its a moment I want to treasure, my Dad reaching out for my son.
We were sad for it to end.
Sorry for the monster post, but an epic vacation deserves nothing less. I’ll be blogging my family trip once I get the film back from the developer. And we also got our family portraits professionally done while we were there! Stay tuned!
