1 snap a day│Day 11│project 365│NJ Family, Child, and Newborn Photographer

Day 11.
{chasing the light}

This image was taken in our kitchen, which is actually quite dark because it only has adjacent windows, no direct window light.  I hear darling daughter saying ‘Giddy Up Bullseye’ and around she comes riding the horse, Jessie in tow.  I love how you can see Jessie’s leg.  She leaned down to give Jessie a kiss, which is why I can’t see her face here.  But I just love how she is bathed in this light from our dining room.

‘Chasing the light’ into the ‘sunset’…E, Bullseye, and Jessie

Double duty post, as its also my January photo challenge submission to Rock My Edits.  If you are a photographer, you should check them out!  www.rockmyedits.com

Here are the details for the one: f2.2, 160sec, 1000ISO, window light

Want to join me? This is a great way to not only document your family, and your life…but also to get creative and take better pictures. I resolve this year to be more present, in the moment, and grateful for what I have. And take better care of myself. Come on, what do you have do lose?
