Christine came to me wanting a professional portrait for her recruiters. She’s in her golden season of life, and wanted something that was timeless and classy. She also didn’t want to look ‘old’ or ‘vintage’, and really wanted to portray herself as a professional. In her words:
Go ahead and admire your own handwork because guess what – you’ve turned a senior (I HATE that term..) into a middle-aged, lawyerly-looking academic – “Professor” ready to give a lecture to the class. As a contractor most often I am submitted for IT jobs w/out having met the recruiter and have only undergone a client phone screen. This pic assures the staffing firm/potential client I can be safely sent into an interview looking appropriate and not too casual. That is the reason I opted for the conservative, traditional head shot as opposed to being trendy.
