My heart was so happy to be celebrating with this family. So many curve balls for this young man, yet it all came together so beautifully. Yes, there were masks, but you could see love so clearly behind the eyes that it almost didn’t matter. It was a gorgeous afternoon, for a gorgeous party, with this gorgeous family. Near and far, they all gathered to honor this handsome guy, and after it was over, there was dancing, pizza, and a waffle food truck.
Strip away the venue and centerpieces…the flashing lights and the crowd…and you have left what I have always loved to capture – moments. Whispers of love. Proud tears. Laughter. Fun. Pretty much perfection.
