Having photographed the Robbinsville Township’s Daddy & Daughter Gala last year, I knew just how sweet it was. Seeing these little girls all dressed up, hardly containing their smiles. Their dad’s proudly walking next to them, holding their hands, wearing coordinating colors in their ties. Little corsages and heeled shoes. Curls and up-dos. Dancing and desserts.
This year, my own little girl and her daddy were able to attend. And I got to see her big smiles and my husband’s excitement. Even though I was technically ‘working’ {because who would view capturing these memories for all the dads and daughters as work}, I was able to snap a few of my special persons.
The DJ kept the dance floor packed! And these 2 had some fun dance moves so capturing this part of the night was a bit challenging as E was moving and shaking….and spinning and dipping…My heart was bursting.
The corsage is now drying and being pressed for a memory book. I will add these pictures to that page. And she’ll remember this night for a long time. And when her memory fades, she’ll have these to look at, to remember that night when her daddy swept her off her feet.
