Kindergarten for this young guy at Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child was a different kind of year. In March, the school switched to remote learning and he graduated kindergarten with a parade and zoom ceremony. Administrators and teachers and the school worked so hard to make the parade special, and I was so happy to be on hand to capture this guy’s excitement at finishing and graduation kindergarten.
It was my first graduation parade in this new ‘normal’ post coronavirus. I followed on foot, wore a mask and used my telephoto lens to stay more than 6+ feet away from everyone. Afterwards, I headed to their home to capture a few details before they spent the afternoon celebrating the graduate outdoors.
What a fun experience! Enjoy a sneak peek of this kindergarten parade, and if you have an upcoming parade for a birthday or graduation that you’d like captured, contact me as I’d love to chat!
