I know the saying that the days are long and the years short.
I certainly had my share of wishing the hard days away. But in this season of growing up, driving, and graduations…I’m feeling a bit nostalgic for the little fingers and toes. For the messes and the silly faces.
When my kids are grown one day, I want them to look back at their childhood and think that I really enjoyed them. That it was a privilege raising them and being their mom. That they are a gift to me.
