Porch Portrait Minis Are Here!
Zooms. Remote learning. Juggling the kids and trying to work from home. Separation from friends and family. Curb-side pick up. Social distancing.
This is our ‘new’ normal, and it has been hard.
I have missed seeing all of your smiling faces, but now that I can work safely outdoors again, I wanted to announce something really fun for you….let’s document this unique time in our lives with a limited edition porch mini! PERFECT for families, celebrating birthdays, GRADUATIONS!, older teens, senior portraits, or just a
‘we’ve been cooped up too long and we want to remember this stage’ portrait 🙂
What is a porch mini?
I come to your home for a quick 15 minute session. The time of day (typically 8:30-9am or 4-7pm) depends on the location of your house with respect to the sun. I can help you figure that out once I know your address. I’ll advise for the best lighting and the chance to explore both your front porch and backyard (if you like.) Porch Minis are all inclusive and include my time plus 8 images via download, with the option to upgrade. These sessions are offered on weekdays for $325 plus tax. Once our session is over, I’ll post a sneak peek if you like and then about a week later, I’ll load the high resolution images that I take into a proofing gallery for you to select your favorites, upgrade if you like, and digitally download.
Don’t wait to schedule, as I am only offering these for a limited time!
++Of course if you would like a different location or a longer session time for your outdoor session, the parks are open and I can make suggestions for you!
I offer 2 packages for those sessions and can accommodate both weekday and weekends. I travel too – so don’t forget about the shore sessions!++

Safety & Social Distancing
Safety is of utmost importance to me. I’ll stay socially distant as I have the gear to stay 6+ feet away and typically am farther than that. I wear a mask the entire time.
You can see an example here:
You might be thinking, what kind of pictures can I get when the photographer stays over 6+ feet away and wears a mask? How can she engage with my kids and get smiles? That is a fair and honest questions. I promise you, I work hard! It is easier than you think.
And seeing is believing, so these families have given me permission to share some of their images to show you.
“Jen was wonderful to work with, I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a family photographer. We have three young kids and she was able to capture their attention, made the whole process fun, and got the biggest smiles out of them! We have TONS of beautiful pictures from our session and I am very grateful! We worked with Jen during a time when it was important to practice social distancing. Jen stayed 6′ away the whole time, wore a mask, and our whole family felt very safe. Again, I would highly recommend!”
As you can see, there is no problem capturing fun moments, amazing light, and happy smiles using a mask and social distancing. These sessions are quick and fun!!
