We often think about professional portraits when our kids are small. As they get bigger, and are involved in more and more activities, time slips away from us and it becomes less of a priority. We always have our phone, or sometimes our kids have the phone!, and life just happens! But I will always encourage families with older children to get professional portraits every once in a while. Get in the pictures with them! This family came to me wanting a session to update their portraits before their eldest went off to college. We had an afternoon with plenty of time to get a few updated portraits of everyone. Or maybe not just a few. Because when you are a family that is so easy to laugh and have fun as these 5 were, you get more than you bargained for! I had so many favorites, I can’t wait to deliver the gallery. Enjoy, xo Jen
