Monkey boy is 6. How is this even possible? How is it also possible that this happened 2+ months ago and it is just now hitting the blog? This season of our life has been hectic, but wonderful.
He wanted to open a Pancake Shoppe for his birthday. We had family in town, and he wanted to share his love of pancakes and dinosaurs. So, what better way to do that? We worked on a shop sign. He came up with the name. Shop had to be spelled shoppe. He wanted to make menus. There wasn’t a lot of variety, but that was far better for all involved as Mommy and E were the cooks and Monkey boy was the waiter. He needed to look the part, complete with a bow tie and dress shirt. He took everyone’s order, but then wanted to stop to feast before all got their food, so there was some confusion. In the end, he had a roaring great time. As you can imagine, dinosaurs popped up in a variety of ways to help celebrate. Take a peek at turning 6 at our house.
