Sports. NASCAR. Zoom mitzvah?
This young man has taken all of the challenges that have come from being called to the Torah in stride. Of course there are the normal responsibilities of learning your Torah portion and doing your mitzvah project. But recently, there has also been the challenge of celebrating one’s mitzvah in the middle of a pandemic. And Alex really shined – he had so many well wishers on the zoom call to celebrating him during his service! He nailed it, and was an absolute joy to watch. It was so much fun to take part in his sports themed mitzvah celebration.
I was so happy to capture the zoom mitzvah from afar. After the service we popped outside for a few different type of portraits.
The service and party might look a little different during this time, but these are still memories meant to be captured. And they absolutely can be!!
