There’s a reason everyone loves the Jersey Shore. Families who both live at the shore, or who have been vacationing at the shore for many generations gather on the beach to relax, enjoy the food and boardwalk, and make new memories.
There’s also reasons why I love the shore…as a photographer. There is something very carefree about photographing at the beach. The close proximity to the water makes everyone a kid again. The lighting is glorious, and the color palette can be both vibrant and muted…depending on which way you are facing from the sun. I just love it.
This family is an ‘old standby’ of mine. And I say that lovingly…I adore photographing them. We celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary with our annual shoot, and had just the best time.
